Host

My husband Greg and I welcome you to our home for chamber music on the first Sunday of the month!

As both a host and a performer, I will be playing some great music written for solo violin or solo viola, and I am also inviting other musicians to play solo and perform chamber music with me.

Guests have the options of sitting on comfy cushions on our floor, on the couch, or on a chair. We will be happy to reserve a chair for you if you let us know in advance. Otherwise, you can choose your place when you arrive.

We welcome children 10 years old and up, if they can sit still and listen quietly to the music.

Please note our apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator.

Donations are a part of the multiple streams of income necessary for independent musicians, and we appreciate them very much. If you love the music, we encourage you to give a donation, which will be shared by all the performers.
In addition, if you feel so inspired, you are welcome to bring your own wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverage, or food to share.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing music with you!

What's the music?

J. S. Bach: Sonata No. 2 in A Minor for Solo Violin; electric viola with 20 minute DJ set by Greg Habiby (deep house)
