Host

I am thrilled to host the Zurich Beethoven Trio, presenting "Hopeless Romantics", a program featuring music of Schumann, Rachmaninoff and Nino Rota. The Zurich Beethoven Trio was founded in 2013 by Bay-Area pianist Ian Scarfe, Swiss-American cellist Charles Akert, and Swiss clarinetist Lux Brahn. They have toured the western U.S. and Switzerland annually since then, showcasing the incredible range of classical, romantic and contemporary chamber music featuring the clarinet.
Many of you heard pianist Ian Scarfe, and cellist Charles Akert in a groupmuse here last year, and expressed the hope that they would be back. I know you will not want to miss hearing the entire trio and I expect the event to fill quickly.
I cannot think of a better way to welcome Spring back to Napa (and coincidentally, to celebrate my birthday!)

Young people old enough to be courteous audience members are certainly welcome I personally encourage some of my piano students to attend the groupmuses so they can hear fine music brilliantly played.
Looking forward to a great concert and a full house.
