 d\n\nMax and I are so looking forward to our second Groupmuse recital! Sin
 ce COVID-19\, we have been self-quarantining in our apartment in Washingto
 n Heights\, thinking about ways to share our music with the world virtuall
 y. In March\, at the beginning of the lockdown\, we invested in live-strea
 ming/audio/video recording equipment in order to transmit high-quality mus
 ic over the airwaves. \n\nWith online classes continuing in our Doctoral a
 nd Artist Diploma degrees at Juilliard\, we began our collaboration by per
 forming at each other's virtual lessons. Our musical connection expanded q
 uickly into live-streamed performances\, and Groupmuses began soon after. 
 \n\nIn our two years living together\, our individual school/performance s
 chedules kept us from forming a musical partnership\, and only now we have
  begun our collaboration due to the COVID-19 self-quarantine. We are grate
 ful for the time together and for the music we get to explore and share. \
 n\nOur first Groupmuse featured sonatas by Schumann and Grieg\, and now we
  move a bit back in time to feature incredible music by Mozart and Brahms.
  A short piece in the middle\, the Paderewski/Kreisler Melodie\, is the pe
 rfect mid-way breath-of-fresh-air. The Melodie\, originally a piano piece\
 , was made into a stunning duo by the legendary violinist and arranger Fri
 tz Kreisler. \n\nWe hope you will join us with a drink in hand for a wonde
 rful program and a lively conversation after the performance. \n\nMackenzi
 e and Max.\n\n
