 nWelcome to a celebration of Beethoven's 250th Birthday Year - featuring s
 ignificant works for his favorite instrument - the piano. Our four-day fes
 tival features performer's who are among the most esteemed interpreters of
  his music\, including pianists **Jonathan Biss\, Garrick Ohlsson\, Alon G
 oldstein** and **Audrey Vardanega with cellist Tanya Tomkins**.\n\nThe fes
 tival will include favorites like the Pathetique Sonata and Les Adieux\, a
 s well as the towering Hammerklavier. The opening concert will begin with 
 remarks from the director of the Center for Beethoven Studies at San Jose 
 State University\, Dr. Erica Buurman\, and will conclude with a live Q & A
  session featuring the performers.\n\nWe hope you will join us for the fes
 tival starting Sunday\, December 6th at 7 pm PST\, for stimulating live di
 scussions and dazzling performances honoring one of the greatest composers
  of all time.
