What's the music?
"Cello Loops"
A 45-minute set of original music for cello and loop pedal, "Cello Loops" is a narrative piece, engaging, but with depth and complexity. It draws from, and blends, a range of styles: jazz, baroque, contemporary pop, and modernism.
The program will consist of 5 movements, forming an arch: Blues, Chaconne, Harmonics, Bossa Nova, and Chant.
