Welcome to Milo for the 62nd concert, SUNDAY 1:30pm FEBRUARY 13, 2022.

Winner of the 2012 Washington International Piano Artists Competition, Keng Siong Sim was born in Singapore and started playing the piano at 11. He was awarded a scholarship to the University of York (UK) and studied piano with Kaoru Bingham and Ka-Kit Tam. Keng has also studied with Nadine Shank and Estela Olevsky at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he obtained his Master of Music. In addition, he holds the ARCM (Associate of Royal College of Music, UK) and LTCL (Licentiate, Trinity College of Music, London) in piano performance. A chamber music enthusiast, Keng has been awarded the Advanced Certificate in Cello Performance by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. He enjoys ensemble playing and is a current member of the Friday Morning Music Club and Capital City Symphony.

Inter-personal physical contact is discouraged, Hand Washing upon arrival is REQUIRED, please do NOT use hand sanitizer. If you have used hand sanitizer, please WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY BEFORE TOUCHING ANYTHING. While here, please Do NOT TOUCH any person; no, not at all--no hand shaking, no bumping, no hugs. But fine to breath comfortably thru YOUR MASK.

All WELCOME TO BRING light snacks and/or non-alcoholic drinks to share, easily accessible without hand-to-hand contamination (no serving utensils please, or use safe Milo Toothpick Protocol--means spread out, not in a toothpick jar, or actually inserted into each hors d'oeuvre=best way).

YOU MUST PAY $20 IN ADVANCE via GROUP-MUSE or directly using: using PayPal, you cannot be approved until you have Paid, and made arrangements for VAX certification ... all funds transferred in full to the musician day of concert ... If you have sent your VAX card image, including Booster, you may just walk-in, front door is open. If not, please WAIT OUTSIDE so Safety Guardian may inspect your VAX CARD. All are welcome to bring light hors d'oeuvres to share, and non-alcoholic drinks to share; host will provide light punch and 2 hot hors d'oeurves. All will be seated during performance, with separation, in the Music Studio (12), Living Room (4), Foyer (2), Behind Studio Screen (2). Ample Street Parking on Milo (please maintain proper distance from neighborhood driveways).

Fresh circulating air from partially open window, rear of studio, Gas Logs provide exhaust. Chemical free home, Vinegar used for cleaning and disinfecting. Important to WASH HANDS IMMEDIATELY upon arrival, coats and bags upstairs please. PLEASE CONTACT ME for APPROVAL immediately forthcoming after you tell me your VAX certification plan. Music Studio as pictured, 1893 Steinway Concert Grand B78949 fully restored to factory new condition, frequently tuned by Steinway RPT. Fine Art collection. 4 decks, 4 lily and fish ponds, home of retired naval officer. Newly installed gas logs replacing huge roaring fires during 61 prior concerts (cold WEAX only).
