 excited to present two extremely talented and accomplished musicians for o
 ur event.  I have personally seen both performing their respective instrum
 ent separately and I can't wait to see them playing together.  Their impre
 ssive bios are provided below.\n\nThis specially curated program involves 
 all pieces evoking memories and references of the composer's homelands - T
 sintsadtze of Georgia\, Dvorak of Bohemia\, and Say of Turkey. \n\nDoors o
 pen at 3:30pm and music starts at 4pm. This event will end around 7pm. As 
 usual\, there will be a plethora of cheese\, snacks and wine (provided by 
 the host)\, as well as a fun evening filled with music and engaging conver
 sation. \n\n-------\nAbout the Artists\n\nHailed by the Washington Post as
  “prodigiously gifted … a display of imagination\, taste and pianistic
  firepower far beyond her years\,” Anna Han strives to deliver heartfelt
  performances through a variety of classical piano repertoire. She has giv
 en performances at venues such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Perfo
 rming Arts\, and Alice Tully Hall. \n\nA keen chamber music player\, she i
 s a founding member of the Munin Piano Trio\, and has recorded for the Ste
 inway label.\n\nAnna received her Bachelor and Masters degrees at The Juil
 liard School under the tutelage of Robert McDonald. As a sophomore\, she b
 ecame the winner of the 2016 Juilliard Gina Bachauer Piano Competition. Sh
 e received the Professional Diploma at the Royal Academy of Music in Londo
 n under the tutelage of Christopher Elton\, where she was awarded the 2021
  Sterndale Bennett Prize.  She is currently based in Berlin\, where she is
  pursuing an Artist Diploma at the Barenboim-Said Akademie under the tutel
 age of Sir András Schiff and Schaghajegh Nostrati.\n\nViolinist Itzhak Pe
 rlman has described Leland Ko as someone that “plays with the beauty of 
 sound and subtlety that we don’t often encounter in a cellist of his age
 \,” someone who is “a musician who willingly considers all aspects of 
 music.”  \n\nLeland has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in v
 enues such as Merkin Concert Hall and Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall in N
 ew York\, and Jordan Hall and Sanders Theatre in Boston\, as well as throu
 ghout Europe.  Leland was recently named a recipient of the Presidential S
 cholar Award at New England Conservatory and the Spark Fund from The Joy o
 f Music Inc.\, and will be a Young Artist in Residence for American Public
  Media’s radio program Performance Today in 2023.  \n\nLeland was a long
 -time student of Ronald Lowry and Paul Katz before attending Princeton Uni
 versity\, where he graduated with an A.B. in German Literature.  He went o
 n to complete an M.M. at The Juilliard School\, and is currently pursuing 
 his Artist Diploma at the New England Conservatory under Laurence Lesser. 
  \n\nLeland plays on the ex-Peled\, ex-Greenhouse Thomas Dodd from 1790.
