 \nAshby Arts Space is a multi genre\, multi medium organization for artist
 ic presentation and support.  We are excited to open our space to Groupmus
 e events to present the Bay Area's amazing Classical Music talent.  We are
  a family oriented establishment with an indoor room that seats 30 people 
 and has the capability of filming and recording performances with controll
 ed lighting and excellent acoustics. \n\nOur outdoor stage seats up to 50 
 people and can present larger acts either acoustically or through our PA. 
 We also have the capability of filming outdoor performances in natural lig
 ht\, or with controlled light after dark.  If musicians are interested Ash
 by Arts can record professional audio/video of their performance for a fee
 . \n\nWe can have amplified music until 10pm out doors and until 12am in d
 oors.  We are interested in presenting on an ongoing basis\, if this date 
 does not work\, please let us know when you would like to perform. \n\nWe 
 are excited to present Kenya Moses and the music stylings of Bossa e Bossa
 .  \n\nBorn in Americus\, Georgia\, and shortly thereafter moving to Darms
 tadt\, Germany\; Kenya was exposed to a wide range of musical experiences\
 , which have influenced her subsequent years of studying and performing. B
 y the time she was 5 years old\, she was playing the piano and singing whe
 never the opportunity arose. Upon moving to California at the age of 6\, K
 enya began singing with her grandmother in the church choir\, performing b
 allet folklorico\, traditional ballet and finding herself drawn to music i
 n every form - picking up the clarinet\, tenor saxophone and flute. \n\nKe
 nya became obsessed with music - singing\, playing and competing in intern
 ational competitions. She later went on to study classical voice and flute
  at The University of California\, Davis\, where she also double majored i
 n Performing Arts with a dance emphasis. \n\nAfter University\, Kenya bega
 n her professional vocal career in the opera world\, while simultaneously 
 studying and performing dance with companies including\, Alvin Ailey in Ne
 w York City\, Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre\, Embodiment Project and more
 . Her opera credits include Berkeley Opera\, West Edge Opera and Pocket Op
 era. \n\nParide Pignotti is an Italian guitarist and composer who makes up
  the second half of the Bossa e Bossa Duo. He is an award-winning guitaris
 t and has collaborated with some of the most well-respected Italian musici
 ans\, such as Javier Girotto and Nicola Stilo. Paride has performed in num
 erous jazz festivals\, including Rome jazz festival\, Time in jazz\, Bari 
 in jazz\, Nice Jazz Festival\, Piacenza Jazz Festival\, Nuoro Jazz\, Fara 
 Music Festival and many others.
