 \n\n__________\n\n**About the Artists**\n**Matthew Graybil**: Praised by 
 The New Yorker as an “exceptional young artist” and as a “major tale
 nt” (Sarasota Herald-Tribune)\, American pianist Matthew Graybil has per
 formed throughout the United States\, Canada\, France and Holland and Mexi
 co in venues such as Carnegie’s Zankel Hall\, Le Poisson Rouge\, Verizon
  Hall at the Kimmel Center and Lincoln Center. He has appeared on radio an
 d television\, including WNYC\, WQXR\, WWFM\, CBS Chicago\, the Discovery 
 Channel and PBS. Since making his orchestral debut at age 14\, he has perf
 ormed with the Fort Worth Symphony and the National Chamber Players among 
 many others. An avid chamber musician\, he has been invited to festivals i
 ncluding the American Academy in Fontainebleau\, the Ravinia Steans Instit
 ute\, the Sarasota Music Festival and the Perlman Music Program. He has be
 en a prize-winner in the MTNA/Yamaha National Piano Competition\, the New 
 York Piano Competition\, the National Foundation for the Advancement of th
 e Arts\, the Juilliard Gina Bachauer Competition\, the Missouri Southern I
 nternational Piano Competition and the Wideman International Piano Competi
 tion. Graybil was a pupil of Vincent Craig and Harvey Wedeen before compl
 eting his Bachelor and Master's degrees at The Juilliard School\, where he
  worked with Jerome Lowenthal and Matti Raekallio.\n\n**Holger Grohs** was
  born in Erlangen\, Germany in 1972\, beginning his violin studies at the 
 age of six. He completed his music curriculums at both the University of M
 usic and Performing Arts in Frankfurt under the direction of Walter Forche
 rt\, and later at the Conservatory of Music in Wuerzburg under the guidanc
 e of Herwig Zack\, where he received a Master Class Diploma. His artistic 
 development was then significantly influenced by Franco Gulli\, under whos
 e tutelage Holger studied for two years at Indiana University in Bloomingt
 on\, USA. There\, he also collaborated intensively with artists such as Le
 onard Hokanson and Janos Starker. Alongside live solo performances on Baye
 rischer Rundfunk (Bavarian state radio in Germany)\, Holger Grohs was awar
 ded German scholarships by the Peter Fuld Foundation in Bavaria as well as
  the Carl Flesch Academy in Baden-Baden. He then gained further inspiratio
 n at numerous master seminars and festivals\, including with Saschko Gawri
 loff at the Carl Flesch Academy\, at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Si
 enna\, and at the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo. Since 2001 Holger Gro
 hs has been a member violinist of the prestigious Staatskapelle Dresden -t
 he Dresden State Orchestra - in 2013 becoming the Deputy Concert Master of
  the second violins\, and in December 2015\, rising to the position of Con
 certmaster of the Second Violins. An equally important focus of Holger’s
  musical creativity for many years has been the viola\, propelled by defin
 itive\, favorable assessments from both Wilfried Strehle and Felix Schwart
 z. As a keenly welcomed chamber music member\, Holger Grohs has toured fre
 quently at home and abroad throughout his career including the "Joyful Mom
 ents" series in China.\n\nBorn 1989 in Stuttgart\, Germany\, **Lukas Stepp
 ** has appeared as violinist with chamber music groups at festivals throug
 hout Germany and has won prizes in competitions including the Klassikpreis
  Munster\, Concertino Praga\, Charles Hennen Concours\, the youth prize of
  the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival\, Brahms Competition\, Portugal’s
  Competition Julio Cardona\, and at the Schoenfeld String Competition in H
 arbin in China. As a soloist\, he performed with the Kaerntener Symphonike
 r\, Macau Youth Orchestra\, Youth Orchestra of Baden-Wurttemberg\, Stuttga
 rter Philharmoniker\, and Staatsorchester Hildesheim. He was a 2016 gradua
 te of the Hanns Eisler University of Music Berlin where he studied with Fe
 ng Ning and Stephan Picard. Later on he studied violin in the master’s p
 rogram at The Juilliard School with Ida Kavafian. Since 2019\, Lukas Stepp
  has been the principal second violinist at the Sächsische Staatskapelle 
 Dresden.\n\n**Mosa Tsay** is a Taiwanese-American cellist who has performe
 d as a solo\, chamber\, and orchestra musician across North America\, Euro
 pe\, and Taiwan. As a worker-owner of Groupmuse\, a cooperative that organ
 izes house concerts\, Mosa has performed more than 100 house concerts and 
 in nontraditional venues such as a chocolate factory\, whiskey distillerie
 s\, and sculpture warehouse. Mosa is co-founder of Versoi Ensemble\, an Am
 erican-Finnish collaboration that performed at the US Embassy in Helsinki 
 and was the first classical ensemble to perform at Finland’s Kyröfest\,
  a celebration of international award-winning gin\, Kyrö. The recipient o
 f the 2019 Fulbright and Harriet Hale Woolley Award\, she studied works by
  Betsy Jolas\, Kaija Saariaho\, and Pascal Dusapin with cellist Anssi Kart
 tunen in Paris. Mosa is a graduate of The Juilliard School (M.M.)\, and ho
 lds Bachelor’s Degrees in Music and in Society and Environment from the 
 University of California\, Berkeley.\n\nUkrainian-born violinist **Yuliia 
 Van** received her very first violin lessons at the age of six in Kiev. Sh
 e then continued her studies at the University of Music in Hannover in the
  class of Prof. Krzysztof Wegrzyn and later with Salvatore Accardo at the 
 Stauffer Academy in Italy. As a prizewinner of Tibor Varga Violin Competit
 ion in Switzerland\, Mirecourt Violin Competition in France\, Louis Spohr 
 Violin Competition and other\, she is constantly engaged for concerts in d
 ifferent countries across the world\, including many chamber music concert
 s and concerts with orchestras\, such as NDR Radiophilharmonie\, Kiev Nati
 onal Philharmonic Orchestra\, Lausanne Chamber Orchestra\, Symphonic Orche
 stra Nancy\, Belgorod Symphony Orchestra\, Tianjin Symphony Orchestra\, am
 ong others. Yuliia is currently a member of NDR Radiophilharmonie Orchestr
 a in Germany and plays on a violin made by Andreas Postacchini\, which she
  received from Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
