 or a Nights Out on **December 3rd**! \n\nParlando is a chamber orchestra b
 ased in New York City that brings intimate and accessible orchestral exper
 iences to wider audiences. Founded by Ian Niederhoffer in 2019\, Parlando 
 provides the musical and historical context to prepare every audience memb
 er for the music they are about to hear. Through short introductions to ea
 ch piece\, the orchestra bridges the gap between audience and performer\, 
 creating an intimate\, accessible orchestral experience. Every Parlando pr
 ogram has a theme and contains a blend of new\, underrepresented and stand
 ard works.\n\nOn the program for this evening\, we have **Melodrama**. The
  program will explore "what is the relationship between music and the thea
 tre? From folk theatre to Shakespeare to the very conventions of the conce
 rt hall\, Parlando will explore what exactly makes a piece of music theatr
 ical. Featuring violinist **Geneva Lewis** performing *Graal Théâtre*\, 
 **Kaija Saariaho**’s enchanting *violin concerto*\, the concert also inc
 ludes **Darius Milhaud**’s Charlie Chaplain-esque *Le Bœuf sur le toit*
 \, and **Erich Korngold**’s delightful *Much Ado about Nothing Suite*."\
 n\nTickets to this concert typically sell for an average of $25\, but we'v
 e got them for **$10 for our Groupmuse community (and only $1 for Supermus
 ers!)**\n\n*Groupmuse ticket buyers are instructed to pick up their ticket
 s at the Merkin Hall Will Call immediately before the performance. Groups 
 wishing to sit together should purchase tickets under a single reservation
  as seating will be assigned.*
