DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Groupmuse\nMusicians: Adrienne Baker\n\nJoin us as we
hold space for healing and catharsis through the musical expression of gr
ief and loss.\n-\nFrom a young age\, we are socialized to interact with ou
r community based on the traditions we inherited from them. We are taught
how to grieve\, when\, and what loss is appropriate to mourn. *[The Grievi
 ng Place](https://www.theflutepursuit.com/thegrievingplace)* uses the audi
o-visual medium as a way for audiences to experience and reflect on their
own life experiences. The composer hopes that you will be able to use this
offering to see the commonality that we share\, finding connection and be
longing. Because\, there is no right or wrong way to remember what we have
  lost.\n\nThis Massivemuse is a multi-disciplinary experience that tells s
tories of loss and how they are remembered. The narrators of *The Grieving
Place* are asked:\n❓ What do you grieve?\n❓ How do you grieve?\n❓ H
ave you been allowed to grieve in your truth?\n\n🌱 *The Grieving Place*
wants to foster understanding and empathy for those who have experienced
loss and provide a platform for artists to share their stories and experie
nces through the universal language of music. Join us at **[Big aLICe Brew
 ing](https://www.bigalicebrewing.com/brooklyn-industry-city)** as **[Adrie
nne Baker](https://www.theflutepursuit.com/)** and the narrators embark on
a journey of exploring the absence that can get us to grief - "a state or
condition in which something is expected\, wanted\, or looked for is not
present or does not exist."\n\n🎟️ **Doors open at 7:00pm\, show start
s at 7:30pm**\n\n🍺 **The brewery will be selling alcoholic and non-alco
holic craft beers at this Massivemuse**\n\n🎤 About the artist:\n**Adrie
