 *About Filip Pogády**\n\nViolinist **Filip Pogády** has been praised by 
 the press for the "beauty of his tone"\, "lightning-like virtuosity" (Russ
 koe Slovo) and his "commanding performance" (The New York Times).\n\nPogá
 dy has performed in some of the most renowned concert venues in the world 
 including Lincoln Center (New York)\, Rudolphinum (Prague)\, Konzerthaus (
 Vienna)\, Tel Aviv Opera House\, Kamakura Arts Center (Kamakura)\, Natori 
 Arts Center (Tokyo)\, Lotte Hall (Seoul)\, and Seoul Arts Center.\n\nPogá
 dy gave his solo debut with orchestra at age 11 at the Wiener Konzerthaus 
 in Vienna after winning the 1st prize at the Tsusuki Violin Competition as
  the youngest contestant.\n\nHe participated three times at Austria's nati
 onwide music competition "Prima La Musica" and won the 1st prize each time
 . He was also honored with special prizes by the Austrian String Society a
 nd the Raiffeisen Bank for extraordinary results at this competition.\n\nP
 ogády earned his Master's Degree in Violin Performance under the tutelage
  of Maestro Pinchas Zukerman at the Manhattan School of Music\, where he w
 as awarded a full scholarship.\n\nBorn in Bratislava (Slovakia)\, Pogády 
 moved with his family to Austria as a child and began his violin studies a
 t age 7. Just one year later he was admitted to the Bruckner Conservatory 
 Pre-college in Linz. He gave his first recital at age 10.\n\nPogády resid

 k Arsenyan**\n\nNew York based pianist **Dr. Hayk Arsenyan* has appeared i
 n numerous recitals throughout Europe\, Asia and the Americas\, in venues 
 such as Carnegie Hall (New York)\, Salle Cortot (Paris)\, Cadillac-Shangha
 i Concert Hall (China)\, Kumin Hall (Tokyo)\, Petranka Mozarteum (Prague)\
 , Auditorio Delibes (Valladolid)\, Dar-Al-Assad Opera House (Damascus)\, S
 ala Cervantes (Havana)\, MoBU (Sao Paolo)\, Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow)\, Ph
 ilippines National Museum (Bacolod)\, and televised recitals at the Dame M
 yra Hess Concert Series in Chicago\, the Phillips Collection Series in Was
 hington DC and at the Nixon Presidential Museum in Los Angeles.\n\nAt the 
 age of 11 Mr. Arsenyan made his debut at the Armenian Philharmonic perform
 ing his own Requiem for the piano and orchestra. At the age of 17\, he mad
 e his European debut as a soloist with the Radio France National Philharmo
 nic Orchestra and was awarded a platinum medal by the City of Paris. In 20
 07\, Mr. Arsenyan debuted at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall performing with
  Pinchas Zukerman and the Manhattan Chamber Sinfonia.\n\nA long-time profe
 ssor at NYU Tisch School\, Dr. Arsenyan has presented guest lectures and m
 asterclasses at universities and conservatories around the globe\, such as
  University of Antioquia in Medellin\, Colombia\, the Hong Kong University
 \, Waseda University in Tokyo\, Manhattan School of Music in NY\, Universi
 ty of Texas in Austin\, and National Conservatory in Damascus. He holds a 
 Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the U
 niversity of Iowa and a Master’s degree from the Gnessins Music Academy 
 in Moscow. In 2007 he received a full-tuition Yevgeny Kissin award for Pro
 fessional Studies at Manhattan School of Music in New York. Mr. Arsenyan a
 lso studied the piano at École Normale Supérieure de Musique de Paris Al
 fred Cortot.
