 rward to hosting guitarist Luis McDougal for an intimate afternoon of musi
 c.  Luis performs music from a variety of traditions and time periods that
  was not originally written for guitar. His aim is to share some explorati
 ons on beauty and the possibilities that electric guitar can offer this re
 pertoire\, with a compositional approach to improvisation.  Luis is inspir
 ed by music heroes Thelonious Monk\, John Dowland\, The Beatles (late peri
 od)\, Radiohead\, Hermeto Pascoal\, and more.\n\nWeather permitting and at
  the artist's discretion\, the concert can take place in my backyard rathe
 r than the living room.  Doors open 2:30 pm\, music starts around 3:00 pm.
   Luis plans to perform one set\, approximately 45 minutes.  Enjoy convers
 ation\, food\, and drink before and after his performance.  I will provide
  snacks and non-alcoholic drinks\, and you are welcome to bring alcoholic 
 beverages.\n
