 Antananarivo\, Madagascar and Beijing\, China\, Jared Beckstead-Craan is a
 n artist\, musician\, composer\, double-bassist and educator based in Broo
 klyn. Jared’s unique sound comes from a confluence of their eclectic upb
 ringing\, their passion for learning and embodying the history of Black Am
 erican Music and their desire to explore their Haitian heritage through ar
 t. They have performed in the United States and internationally with such 
 luminaries as Quincy Davis\, Michael Dease\, Philip Harper\, Jon Gordon\, 
 and Jocelyn Gould.\n\n🎻 About **[Minnie Jordan](https://minniejordan.co
 m/)**:\nMinnie Jordan is a violinist\, composer\, and educator currently b
 ased in Brooklyn\, NY. She has years of experience playing Jazz\, Bluegras
 s\, Western Swing\, Classic Country\, Indie\, New Acoustic\, and Classical
  music\, both as sideperson and leader.\n\n​Growing up on a ranch in rur
 al Texas\, Minnie was immersed in the sounds of Western Swing and Texas fi
 ddle. She began playing publicly at age 9 in a duo with her younger sister
 \, Ella. The two played their first festival soon after\, winning the yout
 h talent competition and showcasing at the Old Settlers Music Festival. Mi
 nnie attended Berklee College of Music and the Berklee Global Jazz Institu
 te and graduated with a B.M. in Performance and an M.M. in Contemporary Ja
 zz Performance. Other honors have included use of the Daniel Pearl Memoria
 l Violin (awarded at the Mark O’Connor String Conference)\, the Sam Eise
 nson Award for Country Music (from Berklee)\, JEN Sisters in Jazz Combo (u
 nder the direction of Ingrid Jensen)\, 2-time nominee/semi-finalist for th
 e NextJazz Legacy Award\, and a FreshGrass Award.
