 his *incredible* **NY Philharmonic** program at Lincoln Center!\n\nThey'll
  be presenting modern music of the African Diaspora\, including "**Carlos 
 Simon**’s *Four Black American Dances* [which] pays homage to the wide r
 ange of Black American dance traditions while **Nathalie Joachim**’s new
 ly-penned cello concerto written for Seth Parker Woods honors the transfor
 mation of African fashion. Driving rhythms of **David Baker’s Kosbro** a
 re followed by **William Grant Still**'s *Autochthonous Symphony*\, which 
 portrays\, in his words\, “the fusion of musical cultures in North Ameri
 ca.” \n\nWith Thomas Wilkins conducting\, this is a concert you do *not*
  want to miss!\n\n*The program will last ~1 hour 45 minutes with an interm
 ission.*\n\n*Children over 5 are welcomed for this concert.*\n\n*Groupmuse
