 bal\, one of the world’s foremost authorities on the piano\, who provide
 s historical and musical context for the repertoire selections which are p
 erformed by these extraordinary pianists.\n\nThus\, the series serves the 
 dual purpose of educating the public about the glories of the piano repert
 oire and introducing the audience members to young\, high caliber pianists
 \, many of whom are winners of major competitions with established careers
 \, in an intimate setting. The audience also has the opportunity to enjoy 
 pianists in return engagements throughout the seasons and witness how they
  evolve as musicians over time.\n\nTracing its origins to the storied clas
 srooms of The Juilliard School\, where decades of young pianists came to t
 ry out repertoire in front of an enthusiastic group of music lovers\, Pian
 o Evenings with David Dubal is now its own fully-fledged entity.\n\nAudien
 ce members are privy to a behind the scenes glimpse of many elite young ar
 tists\, as they hone their craft. The pianists\, in turn\, are given an op
 en forum to perform in an environment that is conducive to musical experim
