 0 COVID-19 lockdown\, this album came out of the darkness of that time\; b
 ut rather than gloom\, hopefulness and light permeate every corner of the 
 recording. Scroggins and Rose are masters of their instruments\, and the i
 nterplay between the two showcases not merely their virtuosity but their d
 eep musical sensitivity for one another.\n\nScroggins & Rose is composed o
 f two GRAMMY nominated musicians. Nashville based mandolinist Tristan Scro
 ggins has been honored with a nomination for the International Bluegrass M
 usic Association's Mandolin Player of the Year Award in 2021 and frequentl
 y performs in prestigious halls such as the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand
  Ole Opry. Bay Area violinist Alisa Rose was GRAMMY nominated for her work
  with Quartet San Francisco\, has served as an Ambassador of the State Dep
 artment with the Real Vocal String Quartet\, and teaches at the San Franci
 sco Conservatory of Music.
