 rgei Babayan\n\nWinner of the 64th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Co
 mpetition\, 24-year-old pianist **Arsenii Moon** won as well the prestigio
 us Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Award per unanimous verdict of the jury\,
  which has not been awarded for almost three decades.\n\nConcert tours for
  the 2024–25 season include more than 50 performances solo and with orch
 estras in major venues and festivals in Italy\, Switzerland\, Germany\, Fr
 ance\, Austria\, South Korea and Japan\, including **Konzerthaus Vienna**\
 , **Elbphilharmonie Hamburg**\, **Seoul Arts Center**\, and **Tonhalle Zü
 rich**\, as well as recording productions with **Deutsche Grammophone** an
 d with the **ORF Vienna Radio Orchestra**.\n\nArsenii was born in St Peter
 sburg in 1999. At the age of six he began to study the piano with Elena Zy
 abreva. In 2010–2017 he studied with Alexander Sandler\, initially at th
 e Secondary Special Music School of the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Sta
 te Conservatory\, and subsequently at the Conservatory itself. He is now f
 inishing his degree as a student of Sergei Babayan at **The Juilliard Scho
 ol** in New York.\n\nIn 2009 Arsenii made his debut with a symphony orches
 tra at the **St. Petersburg Philharmonia**\, and in 2011 he gave his first
  recital at the **Mozarthaus Vienna**. Throughout his career Arsenii has b
 een awarded numerous awards such as the **Sviatoslav Richter Grant** from 
 the Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation\, the Yuri Temirkanov Prize\, and the
  **Verbier Festival** Tabor Piano Award.\n\nIn earlier stages of his caree
 r Arsenii won prizes in several major competitions\, including first prize
  at the Horowitz Competition in Ukraine\, second prize at the Cliburn Juni
 or Competition in the USA\, first prize at the Arthur Rubinstein in Memori
 am Competition in Poland\, and first prize in the St. Priest competition i
 n France. He has appeared at the Mariinsky International Piano Festival an
 d the Yury Bashmet festival in Minsk. In 2015–2021 he was regularly feat
 ured in programs of the St. Petersburg Music House. Arsenii has appeared w
 ith orchestras including the **Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra**\, **The Min
 nesota Orchestra**\, **Orchestra Sinfonia di Bari**\, **St. Petersburg Sta
 te Symphony Orchestra**\, **Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra**\, and the **L
 ithuanian Chamber Orchestra**. He has collaborated with conductors includi
 ng Stanislav Kochanovsky\, Mei-Ann Chen\, Mark Russell Smith\, Ian Hobson\
 , and Valery Gergiev\, among others.
