 tet\, PMHU's Arts Leadership Ensemble.\n\nThe Dolphins Quartet will presen
 t a uniquely personal program of music that they have shared for hospital 
 patients\, incarcerated populations\, and marginalized people in need. Exp
 ect an evening of string quartet masterworks\, exciting original compositi
 ons\, and electrifying improvisation\, coming together to share the powerf

 CIANS\n\nA premier Juilliard string quartet based in New York\, The Dolphi
 ns have performed\, taught\, and collaborated nationwide. Members have won
  top prizes at major national and international competitions\, including T
 he Fischoff and Coltman chamber music competitions and have performed acro
 ss America and Europe. The Dolphins have been frequently featured at Linco
 ln Center’s Alice Tully Hall\, performing the Juilliard premiere of Miec
 zyslaw Weinberg’s String Quartet No. 4\, Villa-Lobos’ String Quartet N
 o. 5\, as well as world premieres of numerous contemporary works. The Dolp
 hins work closely with living composers\, recently performing John Corigli
 ano’s 1995 String Quartet and Andy Akiho’s LigNEouS. In 2023\, the Dol
 phins presented their first collective composition\, The Dolphin Miniature
 s.\n\nIn April\, the Dolphins will perform John Adams’ work for string q
 uartet and orchestra\, Absolute Jest\, with John Adams conducting the Juil
 liard orchestra in Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall. This summer\, the
  Dolphins will perform as Shouse Fellows at the Great Lakes Chamber Music 
 Festival in Michigan\, the St. Lawrence Quartet Seminar at Stanford Univer
 sity\, and Music from Angel Fire in New Mexico.\n\nThe Dolphins are fortun
 ate to have studied with Joseph Lin\, Joel Krosnick\, Laurie Smukler\, Nat
 asha Brofsky\, Molly Carr\, Nick Mann\, Fred Sherry\, Paul Neubauer\, John
  Corigliano\, and The Juilliard String Quartet.\n\nThe Dolphins helped lau
 nch the ‘Music for the Future’ educational campaign for Project: Music
  Heals Us\, bringing Juilliard composition curriculums to correctional fac
 ilities in California. The Dolphins are proud Juilliard Gluck Community Se
 rvice Fellows and perform outreach concerts throughout NYC. The Dolphins h
 ave served as teaching artists for the CMS Lincoln Center’s Meet the Mus
 ic series as well as Juilliard’s Young Peoples Concerts series. In 2024\
 , the Dolphins will visit multiple universities and conservatories as gues
 t artists to perform and work with students on quartets and improvisation.
