DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Lisa G.\nMusicians: Will Marsh\n\nJoin us for a capti
vating afternoon of music performed on the sitar\, tabla and tanpura by Wi
ll Marsh\, William Rossel and Joyce West. This performance will feature t
he rich traditional rhythms and melodies from North India. It is a livel
y and unique art form with expansive improvisation and complex rhythms ran
ging from slow and meditative to fast and virtuosic. There will be an expl

Historically\, Hindustani music was the chamber music of the royal courts
