DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Kaufman M.\nMusicians: \n\n*The Party Scene* brings t
ogether the delightfully offbeat acoustic quartet **The Hands Free** and t
he wonderfully whimsical **Dance Heginbotham** for a music-and-dance extra
vaganza inspired by The Nutcracker and the joyful chaos of a rowdy office
holiday party. Expect a playful mashup of live music\, inventive choreogra
 phy\, and festive mischief\, with a lightly immersive\, family-friendly at
mosphere that invites you into the party rather than simply watching from
the sidelines.\n\nFeaturing **Nathan Koci on accordion\, Christina Courtin
on violin\, James Moore on guitar and banjo\, and Eleonore Oppenheim on b
ass**\, alongside student performers from Montclair State University\, thi
s is chamber music with a decidedly unconventional spirit. And yes\, festi
ve seasonal sweaters are enthusiastically encouraged. Join us in **Merkin
Hall at Kaufman Music Center** on **Saturday\, November 21 at 7:30 p.m**.
Through **Groupmuse Nights Out\, tickets are just $20** (regularly $30)—
so you can save a little while getting into the holiday spirit early. 🎻
