DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Maria M.\nMusicians: Heather Reichgott and Robert Bek
kers\n\nHey friends:\n\nPlease join me for an evening of music and minglin
g as I host my first Groupmuse - a classical music house party at which G
roupmuse provides the musicians and I provide the venue. I've been a gues
t at two Groupmuse events here in JP and they were terrific. The music wa
s beautiful - it was made even better by the intimate setting and\, for an
amateur like me\, the introductions to the music provided by the musician
 s. \n \nI will be hosting on Saturday\, October 22nd\, 7 PM\, at my house
  - 27 Aldworth Street in JP. We'll have an hour to mingle and enjoy drink
s and snacks that I will provide. Then the musicians will play - probably
two half-hour sets. At the end of the music\, everyone chips in $10 or so
to support the musicians.\n\nA pianist and a guitarist will be playing th
ree pieces for us - one by Schubert and two by composers famous for their
works for guitar - one\, Guiliani\, from the early 19th century \, and th
 e other\, Tedesco\, from the early 20th century. \n\nI hope you'll come
check it out and expand your cultural horizons! Please RSVP using the lin
k above. You'll be asked to register with Groupmuse and make a $3 payment
that helps them cover their costs. It's bit of a nuisance but a small pri
ce to pay - I think - to support this great new organization and a cool co
ncept. \n \nI hope to see you on the 22nd!
