This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

Collin W. (she/her)

Hi everyone!

First things first, the anticipated program (subject to change):

Kodaly duo for violin and cello
Handel-Halvorsen duo Bach cello suite no. 1
Ysaye solo violin sonata no. 2

I'm so excited to be hosting my first groupmuse. Some things to know before you come:

  1. BYOB and feel free to bring snacks to share. Some will be provided but the more, the merrier.

  2. Many of you will have to sit on the floor. Feel free to bring a cushion or folding chair if you would like to make sure you have a seat. Because people will sit on the floor, please remove your shoes at the door so floor stays clean for sitting.

  3. Once the musicians have begun playing, I'll ask all attendees to enter through the side door which is down the alley on the side of the house. Door will be unlocked and there is no need to knock.

  4. Be prepared to socialize and meet new people when the musicians aren't playing.

  5. Plan to tip the musicians at least $10.

  6. if you have special needs regarding seating or parking, please message me and I will try to accommodate you the best I can. House is not wheel-chair accessible. To enter house, requires climbing 5 steps and first floor restroom is comically tiny. So if you'd like to come and require wheelchair, please feel welcome to come but know it will be a little tricky.

  7. Parking is on-street only so plan ahead! (It's pretty easy to park but in case you have to walk some...)

  8. I have a Shih Tzu (dog) named Petunia. She is very friendly but afraid of small children. If you bring a child please monitor his or her interactions with the dog. Also, heads up for those of you with allergies.

Can't wait to meet you all and share this evening with you!

What's the music?
