 Jocelyn Zhu and Mariella Haubs think it’s time for a change. A change fr
 om ignorance\, hatred\, and fear to understanding\, compassion\, and empat
 hy.\nWe are Concerts for Compassion\, and starting this June we are playin
 g in US Embassies and refugee camps throughout Europe (and beyond!) to pro
 mote racial acceptance. How\, you ask?\n\nWell.\n\nBeyond actual music\, w
 e plan on sharing stories. Stories of how religious\, ethnic\, and racial 
 slurring has happened before\, and how composers and artists reacted throu
 gh music. We want to promote awareness of what yet needs to be done\, for 
 we tie in to the belief that what is pleasing to the eye and ear also has 
 the enormous capability to change hearts.
