 e\,\n\nI thought about doing the classic DC drinking/going to dance on bar
 tops for my birthday\, but then decided to get classy with a house concert
  at my place instead :) (and then we can proceed with the BarPlan). GroupM
 use is an amazing startup out of Boston that matches young classically tra
 ined musicians with house parties\, and is  an awesome way to bring people
  together in support of local music. I was an early adopted when I lived i
 n Boston and am super excited that they've now expanded to DC! \n\nBasical
 ly you come over for some drinks and hanging out\, Groupmuse sends over a 
 musician (or even a quartet if you have a big enough space! Which I don't.
  Yet.)\, they set up and play a 45 minute set with a break for refilling d
 rinks\, and at the end we pass around a hat! It's a $10 required 'donation
 ' (which obviously is totally worth it). \n\nI have a tight space so sadly
  can't open this up to everyone I would love to have\, but assuming this o
 ne works out well I will definitely be hosting more once I move into our l
 arger Mt. Pleasant house!\n\nCan't wait to see you all \n\n<3 Lucia
