Host

David H. Superhost

Hi there! I love being part of the Groupmuse community and am looking forward to hosting my 2nd event. I'm a long time lover of classical music and house concerts and have hosted similar events in the past. I have great memories of playing clarinet in my college orchestra, and I am an amateur pianist with particular fondness for Chopin.

For this event, I'll be hosting the very talented Daniel Colalillo (www.danielcolalillo.com) who I had the chance to see perform a couple of months ago. He will be performing Debussy and Chopin as well as a very unique contemporary piece called China Gates that I think you'll find very interesting. I'm excited to host and share this experience with fellow music lovers in the Groupmuse community, and I look forward to meeting you!

Please note that we will be taking our shoes off when entering the apartment!

What's the music?

Oliver Messiaen Prelude No. 1 'La colombe" (The Dove)
Debussy - Prelude Book 2 No. 8 "Ondine"
Prelude Book 1 No. 1- "La cathédrale engloutie" (The Submerged Cathedral)
John Adams - China Gates (1977)
Chopin - Nocturne Op. 9 No 1 in b flat minor
Chopin - Ballade No. 4 Op. 52 in f minor
