 ng with the fall of man and ending with the rise of woman. The program wil
 l include selections from “Eve-Song” (Heggie)\, “La mort d’Ophéli
 e” (Berlioz)\, selections by Amy Beach\, and new songs about contemporar
 y issues with music by Steven Luksan and text by Joanne Kennedy Frazer.\n\
 nLiz Frazer completed her Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance at t
 he University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2012\, and recently reloc
 ated to Seattle. She is an active teacher\, performer\, and choir director
 \, and enjoys performing in a variety of styles\, including opera\, chambe
 r music\, and art song.\n\nSteven Luksan is a composer and pianist based i
 n Seattle.  Steven is an advocate for the performance of new and uncommon 
 compositions (especially those by Scandinavian and American composers)\, a
 nd for the performance of chamber music in intimate settings.  Steven's co
 mpositions are influenced by folk traditions\, jazz\, minimalism\, and the
  music of his favorite composers from the early 20th century. \n\nAmple st

 et and it's thirty steps to the front door. Attendees will be asked to mak
 e a donation (minimum $10) all of which goes to the musicians.  Please bri
 ng any drinks and snacks you'd like to share. \n\nNote: Please do not arri
 ve early unless you have a special need and have communicated with me.  Bo
 th hosts and musicians require preparation and set up time.  The start tim
 e (7:30) means that is the time you should arrive\, and you can expect the
