Welcome!

Join fellow music-lovers in an evening of wonderful classical guitar brought to you by Mark Hilliard. The evening will consist of songs spanning centuries, a bit of history, and a bite of Spanish charcuterie.

What's the music?

Spain’s influence on the guitar cannot be overstated. Come enjoy an intimate evening concert where Mark Hilliard Wilson will navigate you through this many layered story with a program featuring some chestnuts and some of the more rare gems of the classical guitars repertoire. Wilson has toured along the Camino de Santiago de Compstella and also in Catalonia. His experiences range from playing concerts in 800 year old churches to pilgrims from the Camino, to intimate performances in 16th century villa on a medieval estate in Besalú, Spain, to abandoned castles atop distant mountains.

His program features music from the dawn of Spain as empire through the current tensions with the proposed independence of Catalonia, all with little stories blend history and my travels with my guitar in these places. I also have selections from Germany, France and the US, that range form the lively to the sublime.

There will also be a sampling of wines and cheeses from the regions he is play music from
