 rs running now\, **CIC Boston** has organized an annual **ArtWeek** that c
 elebrates the depth and breadth of the artistic riches of our great city. 
 And\, as I hope most of you know\, **Groupmuse**\, now almost seven years 
 young and fully coast-to-coast in its expanse\, **began its life here in B
 oston**. So it seemed only natural and right that for this year’s ArtWee
 k\, Groupmuse made a showing. So that’s what we’re gonna do! **With a 
 big fat Massivemuse!**\n\nOn Thursday\, May 2\, we’ll gather in CIC's BE
 AUTIFUL **Lighthouse Space** — located in the heart of downtown and poss
 essed of absolutely stunning views\, to share the evening with some of the
  great vocal talents around as they explore the outer reaches of what voic
 es can do! Unbelievable vocal flips\, contortions\, and acrobatics -- cour
 tesy of singers **Kathryn McKellar\, Sophie Michaux\, Fran Rogers**\, and 
 **Junhan Choi**\, with **Sally Vanderploeg** on piano. They'll perform exc
 erpts from operas by **Rossini\, Bellini\, Verdi**\, and other intrepid It
 alian Bel canto composers.\n\nWhat’s more — in the hour before the pro
 gram\, there will be the pre-performance revelry you’ve come to know and
  love at Groupmuse\, but there will also be **a microphone open and availa
 ble for all**\, and the invitation stands for you to share a poem\, a song
 \, a disquisition. Whatever moves you.\n\nTickets are $20 and include a co
 mplimentary open bar and light snacks — we can’t wait to see you there
 !\n\n----\n\nTo address a bit of confusion: **The Open Mic starts at 5.30p
 m. The performance starts at 6.30pm.**
