This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

We live in a live/work warehouse. Our neighbors are all artists, designers, engineers and invitations to the evening will go to them all. There will be a casual, friendly atmosphere and we will make you feel comfortable and welcome. We've host many small events and Open Studios for artists. This will be the third time we've hosted musicians and we're very excited about it!
We have a manually operated elevator so please let us know if you need it to get to the third floor. Please give us notice so we can make that happen smoothly.

What's the music?

Program:

  • J.S. Bach: extracts from Cello Suites
  • Giovanni Sollima: Concerto Rotondo (2000)
  • Georgy Gusev: 'Traveler's Diary', book of pieces for Solo Cello (2011-2019)

Georgy's new cycle of songs for Soprano and Cello will be premiered at Carnegie Hall on May 30th of 2019.
