 bs\n\nWe are honored to re-host Concerts for Compassion founders Jocelyn Z
 hu and Mariella Haubs. Both trained at Juilliard\, Jocelyn and Mariella co
 mbine mastery fo their instruments with  alertness of our times\, creating
  an evening to be remembered by its precious share of humanity. In their o
 wn words\, "we want to promote awareness of what yet needs to be done\, fo
 r we tie in to the belief that what is pleasing to the eye and ear also ha
 s the enormous capability to change hearts."\n\nConcerts for Compassion pe
 rform music by composers and artists who faced adversity of all kinds\, wi
 th programs ranging from Leclair and Prokofiev\, to African-American Spiri
 tuals and works by composers today. Please join us as we celebrate their r
 ecent achievements such as a not-for-profit  501(c)(3) status\, and their 
 work with The United Nations Refugee Agency in a Central America tour\, wh
 en they provided  educational workshops in refugee shelters\, schools\, cu
 ltural centers\, shelters for victims of human trafficking\, and youth com
 munity centers. \n\nI have been feeling increasingly restless with my limi
 ted range of motion in relation to the various and simultaneous humanitari
 an emergencies of our times. If you also feel this way (and even if you do
 n't) this evening will be our chance to be in two places at the same time:
  present in our lives while  directly impacting the live of others\, just 
 by virtue of participating in a Concert for Compassion. I hope to see you 
 there.
