Host

Hi all! I am so looking forward to this event :-) This will be my family's first time hosting and the program looks like a lot of fun :)

We will provide some snacks, water, iced tea. You're welcome to bring your choice of alcohol or snacks to eat or share as well. We have hardwood floors, so if you like floor pillows, you may want to bring them along. We have a sectional as well.

I look forward to welcoming everyone, as I love having guests. I must let you know that we do not have air conditioning, but that I will do my best all day to keep it cool enough to enjoy :) Just be sure to dress however you'll feel comfortable, given that info and the weather forecast for this evening :)

What's the music?

J. S. Bach - Prelude & Fugue WTC 1 no. 5 D Maj (1722)

Mozart - Keyboard Sonata C Maj KV 309 (1777)

Schumann - Papillons Op. 2 (1831)

Leonard Bernstein - Four Anniversaries: I. For Felicia Montealegre (1948)

Robert Muczinski - Selections from Six Preludes for piano Op. 6 (1954)

Michel Legrand - You Must Believe in Spring (1967)

Olivia Newton John and The Electric Light Orchestra - “Xanadu” (1980)

I am looking forward to sharing this music with you all. You’ll hear these composers in a way you’ve never heard them before!
