 ause we'll be on the lawn.** Stretch out\, tune in\, and bliss on some tru
 e beauty -- the sky\, the lake\, the architectural majesty\, the sweet sou
 nds: a symphony of senses. If you're dropping into Oakland for the day\, g
 o kayaking on the lake and check out the beer garden scene before the 'mus
 e! \n\nBay Area musicians (including Mosa Tsay\, Groupmuse's SF Regional C
 ommunity Manager!) come together to perform a quartet program by two famou
 s siblings who composed over 500 works total: \n\n**Felix Mendelssohn's St
 ring Quartet Op. 80\, No. 6**\n**Fanny Mendelssohn's String Quartet in E-f
 lat Major**\n\nEveryone knows about Felix the Whiz-Kid. His older sister F
 anny\, however\, was a musical talent on his level -- but for so many year
 s her contributions were passed over because\, well\, Patriarchy. No longe
 r! **Let us sing her praises!**\n\n**Tickets are $20\, doors open at 2:00
