This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

I'd like to invite music lovers to our tea house.
Our space is beautiful, cozy, lay back, great atmosphere converted from apartments with live performances and Teahouse.

What's the music?

I propose a program that I presented at an international conference this summer! It features the music of Chopin, and how it influences contemporary music. My goal is to make the audience appreciate both classical and contemporary music. It features pieces that I've commissioned by NYC based composers, a piece inspired by artist James Turrell's "Perfectly Clear", and a commission inspired by Chopin's Barcarolle. I will include selections of Chopin's Mazurkas and the Barcarolle in a casual presentation followed by Q&A.

Chopin Mazurka Op. 17
Caroline Shaw Gustave Le Gray (inspired by chopin mazurka op. 17)
Cassie Wieland Perfectly Clear
Chopin Barcarolle
