Hello everyone! This will be our fourth Groupmuse and we hope you'll join us for an inter-holiday gathering in our Capitol Hill living room. As the days get shorter and colder we'll snuggle in and enjoy some lovely chamber music. Johann Sebastian Bach - Suite No. 3 for Solo Cello
Join me for an evening of baroque cello music performed on a historically informed instrument! I will start the evening with some of the very first solo cello music, written by virtuoso cellists in Bologna, Italy in the late 17th century. Then, I will move forward 30 years to perform Bach's Third Suite for Solo Cello, one of the crown jewels of the genre.
