What's the music?
"The Moving Orchestra" is an eclectic mix of artists of all trainings and backgrounds in NYC including classical/jazz musicians and dancers from Juilliard, Barnard/Columbia, New School, and some sound artists based in the city. We originated from various house shows and improvisations through connections in Groupmuse and come together to produce all-improvisation.
For this Groupmuse performance, we take you to a performance in sacred, spacious halls. Our program will go through a series of ensemble and individual improvisations and games.
Prepare to be immersed in the unexpected.
