Host

Hello and Happy Holidays!

Please join me for a spirited and laid-back evening of carols and wintry classical tunes on harpsichord, including a brilliant, historical arrangement of Arcangelo Corelli's "Christmas Concerto," music by J.S. Bach, and rarely-heard liturgical music by the Jewish-Italian composer Salamone Rossi.

All of the music will be performed on a replica inspired by a 17th-century Flemish harpsichord.

What's the music?

Traditional British Carols with Improvisations
Salamone Rossi: Psalm 124 (Renaissance Hebrew music)
J.S. Bach: Preludes & Fugues in C minor, A flat major (WTC I)
Arcangelo Corelli: "Christmas" Concerto, Op. 6. No. 8 (arr. Billington)
