Host

Captain Rix W. Superhost

My primary responsibility, when you are in my home, is your safety, welfare, and good health. Seating here does not meet the CDC social separation of 6 feet, nor am I comfortable with a buffet, wherein many guests are touching the same service items. I came back 3 days early from 21 days skiing in CA/NV/Tahoe, I took ALL my meals in my kitchenette room, and flew just Friday, altho on both flights I had an empty center seat, and was on the aisle. I am not comfortable with many touching wine bottles, and sometimes the appetizers, even desserts require touching the food, touching your mouth, perhaps doing it again, with stay touches to remaining items. I have consulted the musicians, and Tim, John and Bruce, all suggest postponement. So please, no further sign-ups, and I will be refunding your paid subscriptions within the next few days, probably Monday.

This event will be POT LUCK starting at 2p with Wine & Appetizers, music at 3p with two full sets featuring Tim Ford, Piano; Bruce Swaim, Tenor Saxophone; & John Previti, Bass; program will include fugue based forms, and others. Dress code: winter chique--no poorly dressed guests, 4 decks/4 bridges open, 4 fish ponds open, 2p Wine/Bar Appetizers and 3:45p dinner; all guests will be seated for the performance. This is the 13th GroupMuse event and the 55th SOLOX House Concert here at Milo. Host to provide large hot appetizer, 2-3 dishes and orange-ginger punch. Pot-Luck is Voluntary but expected, Appetizers MOST desired (Heavy hors d'oeuvre's); nice if you can bring something wonderful to share. Wine/Beer is BYOB. Expected minimum payment to artist is $15-20, arrivals at 2p. Note: Doors Close at 3p during first 30-40 minute set; open at intermission for dinner, closed again during performance 2nd set. ADVANCE PAYMENTS ONLY $20 via GroupMuse Credit Card, or My PayPal Link. NO CASH AT THE DOOR (CASH is not legal if wine/beer is served anywhere in MD/DC/VA). If unable to pay in advance, checks made out ONLY to Tim Ford, and sealed in an envelope with ONLY your name on the outside. All coats and bags, please take upstairs, any room. YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A TERRIFIC TIME, PARTY AFTER CONCERT until 8p! Questions please write, including your eMail address. Piano is the Victorian 1893 Steinway B, recently restored to factory new condition. Doors open during happy hour arrivals window 2p-3p please. PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS before leaving home, PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH Anyone at this Event, YOUR HEALTH & WELFARE is host's MOST IMPORTANT GOAL. Use Hand Sanitizer/Wash Hands while at Event before/after food service, PLEASE. Payment Link: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=KVJNRFU9KZ5FW&source=url
