About

I am a cellist and composer from Los Angeles. I am passionate about crafting compelling and original musical experiences, performing in small, intimate settings where music can be experienced up close by all listeners, and appreciated regardless of musical background. As a nonprofit professional, I have also worked closely with performing arts organizations and in music education, managing an orchestra and teaching music in local underserved schools. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking and studying maps.

Music

I like to venture off the beaten path. I frequently play with my cello trio, Splntrd Wood, performing our own daring arrangements of just about anything (from Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring to Brazilian folk). Two particular areas of interest are chamber music from the last 100 years, as well as early music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
