Maryann Han (pianist) and Ilana Zaks (violinist) are best friends, who also love playing music together. Ilana and Maryann participated in NEC professor, Vivian Weilerstein’s Sonata Class in the Spring of 2019, and since have continued performing many recitals together.

Pianist, teacher and collaborator Maryann Han has studied with Kathleen Panek, Keiko Sato, and Victor Rosenbaum. A graduate of New England Conservatory of Music with a BM in piano performance, having been under the guidance of Victor Rosenbaum. She plans on opening her private piano studio in Lexington, MA, while continuing to explore her artistry with renowned pianist Mana Tokuno.

Violinist Ilana Zaks has a interest in multidisciplinary collaboration as well as chamber music, and solo. She has had the fortune to study with Itzhak Perlman at the Perlman Music Program in NY, as well as Donald Weilerstein, her current teacher at NEC. Her debut visual album, Persistence of Memory, will be released in Nov 2019.
