About

I'm a professional musician and educator located in the Chicago area. I studied at DePaul University (MM) and Ball State University (BM). I grew up around the world and bring a wealth of experience, cultural understanding, and professionalism with me into everything I do. I love playing tuba, and work with many bands and organizations across the midwest and beyond.

Music

I love playing a diverse set of music, which can range from Bach through to contemporary and experimental works being written today.

I have played with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and many more regional orchestras throughout the Midwest and beyond. I’m also comfortable as an improviser, jazz musician, chamber musician, arts administrator, stage manager, and production manager.

I have an executive position in a few bands. I co-founded Butter Chicken Brass Band and Tuba Force, and I am an executive member of Mucca Pazza. These bands are located in Chicago, and you can look them up on Instagram if you have more interest!
