Nicholas Fanara is a highly accomplished pianist, currently pursuing his music education at the prestigious Mannes School of Music, graduating this year with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. He is a distinguished alumnus of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts, where he won the school’s 2019 Concerto Competition and was awarded the Marianne & Michael Shapiro Music Fund Award. Nicholas has performed at many prestigious venues, including Steinway Hall, The Scandinavia House, and the DiMenna Center. He has been invited to perform at the Tomorrow’s Artists Today concert as part of the Musica Reginae Productions season concerts in 2018 and in the Young Artists Showcase in January 2023. He has also received masterclasses from renowned pianists such as Anne-Marie McDermott, Alexander Kobrin, and Jeffrey Swann. Simone Dinnerstein also invited him to record for WQXR, where he was featured in a showcase of pianists at Mannes.
