Growing up in Russia and later performing and studying internationally shaped both my musical and personal perspective. I enjoy connecting different traditions and experiences through music and continuously searching for sincerity, depth, and individuality in performance.

Music

I am drawn to music that explores profound emotional experiences and the complexity of human nature. I especially value works that express not only struggle and darkness, but also light, hope, warmth, and inner sincerity. I believe that through music we experience not only our own emotions, but also enter the artistic world created by the composer. For me, one of the most fascinating aspects of being a performer is searching for the meaning and emotional truth that lives within a work. Leo Tolstoy wrote in The Kreutzer Sonata, “Music makes me forget my real situation. It transports me into a state which is not my own.” I believe that this ability to transcend ourselves and connect through shared human experience is one of music’s greatest powers.
