A new concert and educational series dedicated to celebrating Black Artistry through music is in your backyard. Boston-based Castle of our Skins brings an evening not to be missed complete with yummy local food, good ol' fashion fun and of course new and old music written by black composers. There may even be a chance for YOU - the house concert-goer - to join in on the music making with some audience participation :-)

We're located less than a 10 minute walk from the Forest Hills T stop. We're also on a private drive so free parking is available!

Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday at 6pm! The menu is planned (autumnal, veggie-friendly food and hot apple cider to drink) and the music is ready. The concert with be about 45 minutes and include traditional African-American spirituals* performed for baritone and string trio, a movement of Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson's "Calvary" string quartet and selections from the interactive educational workshop for solo narrating violist "A Little History**" (with a chance for YOU to help in the music making!)

Also, there is free street parking (despite what the road signs say). The home is also home to two cats so please bring any allergy meds if you need.
