"Traveling and Arriving". Two activities that are all but impossible these days. I would like to invite you to travel with me and with the music of Albéniz in the cities of Andalucia in southern spain, and then through Bach's Partita BWV 1004, arriving at the town of Coethen in Germany, where Bach himself arrived after a journey to find a tragedy has befallen him. A tragedy that inspired him to compose one of the pinnacles of western music, the famous Chaconne in d minor.
I would be delighted to share this journey with you!
