Charge into 2021 with a jolting dose of violin and cello duos with Hub New Music violinist Alyssa Wang and Opera San Jose Principal Cellist Evan Kahn -- featuring a world premiere of Alyssa's own galvanic composition, "Volt." It'll be sure to be shocking!
Alyssa was commissioned by the Palo Alto Philharmonic to write "Volt" in lieu of her and Evan's performance of the Brahms Double Concerto, originally planned for Feb. 2021 and postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic. This Groupmuse acts as a fundraiser for audiovisual and recording venue fees for Volt, so that we can hire the best recording engineer and videographer to make the coolest music video ever.
