Rene Izquierdo, almost 2 years ago

This event was as close to a live (in person) concert experience as it could get. The guitar sounded great and the concert was a great success!

Music in 2Flavors Música en 2Sabores, almost 2 years ago

I never attended René Izquierdo and it was my first time, but not the last time, that I listened to his marvelous performance and mixed repertoire.

His Caribbean repertoire was outstanding, it brought me great memories of guajiras that I used to listen when I was little and Barruecos arrangement of one of the best Cuban pianist, E Lecuonas, surpassed all my expectations.

I want to thank David Sutton for the invite, Steven for being a great host, and last but not least, to maestro René Izquierdo. I had a wonderful time last night and I went to bed (in Maryland) happier than ever, reimagining and replaying those beautiful compositions I enjoyed last night.

Gracias
