Host

Hello, everyone! I'm excited to share a special preview of a new multidisciplinary piano recital I've been developing for the past year. I'll be taking this program to venues in LA and San Francisco shortly after this Brooklyn house concert edition.

The program, titled "Bluedreams," features solo piano works by John Cage, Claude Debussy, Brittany J. Green, György Ligeti, Tristan Murail, Ramin Roshandel, Erik Satie, and Amy Williams, interspersed with fixed-media audiovisual “interludes” composed by myself and various duo collaborators. Bluedreams endeavors to explore the beguiling, physically-affecting quality of sound itself, celebrating sound’s ability to plunge the listener into enveloping, meditative, and even trance-like states as a modality for healing and introspection.

Any audience contributions for this event will help cover my upcoming west coast tour expenses. Thank you all and I can't wait to share this program with you!
