A live in-person performance in a backyard or another outdoor space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.
Host
Led by saxophonist, Adam Ramsay, and drummer Alex Rivas, the Rivas-Ramsay Collective have been performing in NYC since 2006 when the pair first came together for a series of performances in Harlem. Over the years, the two have played with various line-ups that have included Steve Gelfand (Hall & Oats), Ron McClure (Blood, Sweat, & Tears), and David Englehard (Zac Brown Band) performing at venues including the Blue Note, Iridium, Brooklyn Bowl, and Minton's.
Performing both originals and standards, the evening's line-up will include David Englehard on piano and Adam Grau on bass.
Weather permitting, the event will be held outdoors on a private terrace space.
The set will run from 7:00 - 8:00 PM and musicians are invited to bring their axe for a jam session afterwards.
