This is a Groupmuse Night Out

Explore the wider world of music outside Groupmuse with exclusive discounts to local concerts.

Our friends at Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts are welcoming our Groupmuse community back for yet another Night Out with fantastic programming, this time at the beautiful and iconic Herbst Theatre on Saturday March 11 at 7:30pm with acclaimed guitarist JIJI!

JIJI is the first guitarist to win the prestigious Concert Artists Guild Award in 30 years, making her a must-hear, once-in-a-generation artist. The Calgary Herald regales her musicianship as "...talented, sensitive...brilliant" while the Washington Post calls her “one of the 21 composers/performers who sound like tomorrow.”

JIJI is an adventurous artist known for her virtuosic performances that feature a diverse selection of music, ranging from traditional and contemporary classical to free improvisation, played on both acoustic and electric guitar. Through her impeccable musicianship, compelling stage presence, and constant premieres of new musical works, JIJI’s intriguing programming solidifies her reputation as a 21st century guitarist. This is one Groupmuse Night Out you will not want to miss!

More information can be found on the Omni website.

Groupmuse ticket buyers are instructed to pick up their tickets at will call. Groups wishing to sit together must purchase tickets under a single reservation.
